Unfortunately, Phil suffered with extreme blisters and bravely struggled on for two days. However, yesterday morning he made the sensible decision to go home and repair his feet. The good news is that he hopes to return and join us on Monday. Good on you Phil.
Luke and I have continued walking and have had to go through some fields of COWS! Anyone who knows me well will understand how much of a challenge that was for me! Not sure who was supporting who, but we made it!
Yesterday, we reached Mainstone, which is a very tiny place surrounded by beautiful countryside. We stayed with Miriam Ellison in her highly recommended B & B 'New House Farm'. Thank you, Miriam, for your generous hospitality.
