Sorry not to have put much on the blog lately but did not want to get too repetitive as I am still concentrating on finding accommodation along the walk. I continue to discover some very generous people who are willing to get involved. Thanks to the Mackays and Malcolm from  Gospie for your support, Rev Barder from Fort Augustus and Caroline Wilson from Drumnadrochit for agreeing to put us up.
 Had a good time on Saturday evening with about 80 people, we enjoyed quizzes, food and listening to live music supplied by Luke Berry (no relation to Chuck) and his friends, very talented young people. On top of that we also raised some money!
Thanks to a friend of ours, Graham who is kindly arranging travel to get us to the start, flying to Inverness and then by car to John O Groats.
